**Gear Jammers Bash is not a points race for UMTR South Members**

United Manual Transmission Racers (UMTR) is a dedicated group of stick shift drag racers, promoters, and fans who's goal and purpose it is to:

A: Promote and Develop drag racing for stick shift vehicles at regionally participating race tracks.

B: Provide a venue for:

-Existing stick shift cars and drivers

-Encourage the construction and development of new stick shift/manual transmission cars

-Returning paying spectators back into the stands to be part of the fun and enthusiasm that only stick shift racing can provide

C: Sponsor stick shift open events at regional tracks

D: Develop and promote the UMTR Stick Shift Nationals making it the largest gathering for stick shift drag racing in the country
